Change is in the air at Screenarchy. Many of you have noticed while picking up orders that Screeanrchy HQ is on the market. Fret not everyone, we are not going anywhere...yet. While it is true that we are trying to sell the existing property, we are still going to be serving all of your screenprinting needs. I will be spending a majority of my time in Des Moines, working on setting up another location and spending more time with my lovely fiancee, Julie. I will still be available via email 24/7, and via phone from 4PM-9PM on weekdays. On weekends you will still be able to reach me from 8AM-9PM as has been the case for the past few years. With that being said we are looking for a partner and/or potential buyer for Screenarchy.
We are open to discussion with investors, partnership opportunities, as well as offers for the business. Our preference is to keep a close hand in the business, however, should the right offer present itself we are willing to listen. This would be a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in the screenprinting industry with an established, customer service oriented shop, with 10 years of quality work under their belt. We have an amazingly loyal client roster and are very proud of the work we have provided over the past decade. Any interested parties should contact me directly via email, kenny@screenarchy.com, and we can arrange a meeting to field any questions and explore the options that are available.
Cheers,
Kenny Cummer

Happy Holidays from the entire Screenarchy family to you and yours. We are preparing for our Winter shutdown. The production line will be shutting down tonight with the presses firing back up on Tuesday, December 29th. Feel free to email or call in the meantime. We can't guarantee our usual speed in response time but we will be periodically checking messages and email over the holiday. Thanks to everyone for another fantastic year serving your printing needs. We look forward to 2010, who knows, we may even get that new shop we asked for from the fat guy at the mall!

Every once in a while I will get an email from a client asking what former Screenarchy proprietor Mattox Roesch is up to. The long and short of it is that Mattox and his wife moved to Alaska and he has been working feverishly on writing another novel. Not only has he successfully done so, it is going to be published and released later this month. Mattox will be doing a book tour, in which he will make a stop at Magers & Quinn in Uptown on Monday, September 21st at 7:30PM. Stop by to hear him read excerpts from the book and also pickup a copy for yourself.
In other news we are still looking for a buyer for the current location. After two months of unsuccessful listing with a local real estate company we are now selling on our own to allow for greater flexibility with the price. If you or anyone you know is in the market for a two-bedroom home than feel free to pass along our contact info and we would be more than happy to email pictures and arrange a showing.
Shoutouts this month to some new customers and some old...Papa Roach, 20 Dollar Love, Agape, Grace Lutheran Church, RisingSide, Windustry, North Central University, DHD Photography, Venus On Fire, Ripsnorter, and Kow Kitty. Until next time...

Greetings to you from Screenarchy HQ. With the Summer blitz in full swing I forgot to announce our Summer shutdown which will be happening Thursday, July 30th to Monday, August 3rd. We will be announcing a new special in the next week, so be checking in for that announcement. If you would like to be the first to know, check out our Twitter feed, www.twitter.com/screenarchy.
Some of you are aware of this, but we are currently looking at new locations for Screenarchy. As soon as that happens further information will be posted immediately here, as well as on the Myspace and Twitter pages. We are not expecting this to happen in the near future, however, should it go down in a quick fashion we will contact everyone with a personal email provided we have valid contact information for you or your organization.
If you feel that we do not have your current contact info feel free to send that to myself, kenny@screenarchy.com. As I have mentioned to some of our clients, we are looking to take that next step towards a nice big storefront with a warehouse and the whole nine yards. Preceding that move however we will be selling our current location. So far no serious offers have hit the desk, so we are currently in a holding pattern. To be honest, we are in no rush as business has been keeping us busy to the point where a move would be a hindrance to providing the top-notch customer service we like to pride ourselves on. So thanks to everyone for your recent patronage and putting such a wonderful problem on our plate, specifically - The Minnesota Twins, IKEA, Agape, Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church, Northern Brewer, Bicycle Theory, Humble Monkey Productions and former Screenarchy proprietor Mattox Roesch. We will be giving everyone an update shortly on what Matt has been busy with the past few years. Time to wrap this up, until next time...

Hello from Screenarchy HQ! While the year started off at a medium pace, we have hit the summer swing and are quite busy in the shop. With that in mind be certain to scope out the specials page.
We are getting ready to offer an exciting new alternative to American Apparel (relax, we are not going to stop printing on said brand)...it is called Earth Positive. For those unfamiliar with the name you can find out more information about the line at www.earthpositiveonline.com. They are a UK based company offering 100% organic t-shirts and hoodies with a 90% lower carbon footprint. We are happy to offer another green-friendly line to our portfolio, pricing will be available soon. Early indications from the distribution centers are going to place the price point at about $0.50/shirt above American Apparel pricing. We leave the long-posed question in your hands...how much is mother nature worth to you?

We are one month away from the dreaded IRS tax filing deadline. To celebrate we have decided to throw out a Spring special. We are offering $4/shirt for one-color prints, or $25 off any other order. A minimum order of 25 pieces applies, American Apparel orders are not included on this special. The special is valid through April 15th, 2009. All finalized artwork and payment must be received prior to that date to qualify.
Also, we wanted to wish everyone a premature Happy St. Patrick's Day! Until next time...

With 2009 comes a new face in the White House! For many businesses, and families alike, we are clinging to the hope that the economy will see this year as a turning point. We thank everyone for another record-breaking year in 2008 for Screenarchy. I know it seems like a broken record, but we truly can't say it enough. We look for 2009 to be another year of growth for everyone involved and we couldn't do it without any of you (yes, even the people who place a diminutive order of 25 pieces)!
We will have a new special posted in March, so keep your eyes peeled. As always, should you have any questions in regards to an order don't hesitate to contact us. We are here for one reason, and that is you!

It is hard to believe that we are less than two months away from Christmas. As always we want to say thank you to everyone for keeping Screenarchy above water during this time of hardship. For small businesses it has been a turbulent year, and we are thankful that we have all of our loyal customers to keep us from becoming another statistic. Special thanks going out to Northern Brewer, University of Minnesota Students For Obama, Heathen Crusade, The Skullcranes, For Blood, MUSHR (Minnesota's Unwanted Siberian Husky Rescue), Our Judgment, Handyman Connection, and The Great Shark Hunt.
While we are not endorsing any particular candidate for local, state, or national races - we encourage everyone to take part in the voting process on Tuesday, November 4th. We feel it is important for every voice to be heard, no matter what your reasoning for backing your particular candidate. Here is to a successful voter turnout, and to an efficient and prosperous return to normalcy.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce such sad news to all of the loyal Screenarchy customers...After nearly four years we are having to chalk up a point to the man for driving up our prices. In the past we have been able to sacrifice a few office luxuries to absorb the inflation that has occured througout the textile industry. To quote our distributors, "Manufacturers have announced a cost increase on their products, stating the increase is necessary because of the continuing increase of cotton, energy, and transportation costs." We received this news earlier today, stating that the price change will occur on Monday, October 6th.
Our policy has always been to give everyone ample notification of major changes.
This definitely falls under that category, and we wouldn't think of treating
it any other way. Therefore, we are going to honor our current prices until
Monday, October 27th. That is a full month from today, giving everyone ample
time to tie up any loose ends on orders they were putting together and budgeting
via current pricing. The price change will be seen that day via the web. We
are waiting on a final price guide from our suppliers to announce our new
pricing. I can say that their preliminary numbers are indicating a 5% increase
in product cost. We promise to keep the Screenarchy price increase equal to
that of our manufacturers, maintaining an equal profit margin to our current
pricing, and keeping our pledge to you that we will do our best to keep pricing
reasonable and quality high. Thank you to everyone for your continued support
of Screenarchy, we are hopeful that this is only a temporary price change
and that we will be able to return to normalcy in a speedy manner.
If you are new to Screenarchy, this is how it works: We produce the highest quality screen-printed apparel at the nation’s lowest prices, hands down. We don’t charge screen fees or any other confusing costs. Everything here is straightforward, fast, and reliable. We have been doing this, and this only, since 1999. Check out the plethora of customer's we have printed for on the Accolades Page and a few of the compliments they’ve given our work.
Thanks,
Kenny Cummer
